Disclaimers
OUR POLICIES:
- Boats do not have brakes or headlights making them dangerous to operate (even for experienced operators) especially at night. We therefore prohibit operation of them at night.
- We are closed daily at 5pm. We highly recommend having all boats that are multi day rentals docked by then. Daily rentals must be completely refueled and returned to slip by 4pm, no exceptions.
- Pontoon boats in general are designed to go slow and straight. They are not high performance vessels and should not be used to pull or tow. Therefore, towing is not allowed behind any of our pontoon boats.
- Lake Gaston is an average of 35 feet deep. We highly recommend investing in a nautical fishing and depth map. We recommend staying 200 feet off any dock, pier, vessel and /or shore.
- All boats are provided with a full tank of gas at pickup. A brief orientation and safety tutorial will be given prior to departure to ensure you are comfortable operating this boat. Boats are expected to be refueled at Washburns upon returning.
